A couple purchased a circa 1890's townhouse in the historic Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn, which had previously been converted into 4-family house. The previous owner had severely neglected the building over the years. However, much of the original historic details remained intact under all the neglect, include wide-plank pine floors, a mahogany staircase, and marble mantles throughout.

We were asked to renovate the house, and convert it to a 2 family home. We also replaced all the major mechanical systems, as well as the roof and all of the windows in the home. The new owners also wanted central air conditioning to be installed, but wanted it done without disturbing the historic feel of the house.

The end result was a charming and comfortable home for this couple, with lots of historic detail and modern amenities. We were able to do this within budget and within a fairly tight time frame of a few months.
